Specialists in data protection and information security
What makes us different?
The business was founded by IT professionals who have spent many years working within information systems.
That experience and understanding of the way modern organisations function, enables Data Privacy Services to provide the pragmatic advice and guidance that their clients need.
Most data protection providers are lawyers. They have a solid understanding of the legislation but have never worked in information systems. Our unique selling point is that we can offer the knowledge of the legislation and we can align that to the way modern data driven businesses need to function.
We ensure that our clients get the best practical and cost-effective services that they need to comply with the law, to keep their organisations safe from the constant and increasing threat of cyber crime. We offer the mix of data protection expertise combined with strong cyber and information security skills. The reality is that modern workplaces need both risk reduction and compliance. Data protection and information security are intertwined and they cannot be managed separately.

About us
Company overview
The business was founded in 2016 by its co-founders, George and Hayley Harris.
In 2022, the brand was acquired by Data Privacy and Security Services Limited, a UK limited company based in Shropshire in the United Kingdom. The business now operates from both the United Kingdom and also Cyprus, establishing an EU office post Brexit.
Data Privacy Services provides a broad range of data protection and information security services, training courses and solutions. The business has grown over the years and has employees and associates in a number of countries.
The customer base varies in size of organisation and the sector they operate in. The business supports small, medium and large global corporate companies.

Our customers
Client confidentiality is very important to us
Our customers vary significantly in size and the services that they provide. We support charities, SME customers and provide services to startups. Our team have worked in various business sectors, including healthcare, education, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, local and central government.
We do not publicise who our customers are. This decision was made based upon the fact that we are often under non-disclosure constraints. In addition, we know that the vast majority of our customers do not want to publicise the fact that the roles we perform are outsourced to a third party.
Most of our prospective customers understand this position. If references are requested, they can be provided but we tend to limit that to larger engagements, or for roles where referencing checks are mandatory.
